Abstract: The Ladakh Messenger(1937-1947) is the longest-established Tibetan- language newspaper in Ladakh near Xinjiang and Tibet in the Western Himalayas. The author of this article discovered the original of this newspaper in the Archives of the Moravian Church in London in 2019. On the basis of the basic layout and newspaper concept of The Ladakh News, the newspaper has enhanced the visualization of content production, and narrowed the coverage area and the subject. In this way, the newspaper is more like sermon paper, which has increased the content of social education, and played a strong media advocacy role. The author believes that the core logic of the newspaper’s content productions is the protestant ethics of Moravian. Through the production of space and caravan dissemination of the Christian Inn, the newspaper expanded the scope of distribution and finally realized the dissemination in Tibet, which was of great significance in the early development of Tibetan newspapers.
